Club History

Founded in 1886 as Dial Square in Woolwich, London, Arsenal FC, now based at the 60,000-capacity Emirates Stadium, emerged as a football giant under Herbert Chapman in the 1930s, winning five league titles and two FA Cups. The club secured 13 league titles, including the unbeaten “Invincibles” season of 2003–04 under Arsène Wenger, who also delivered seven FA Cups during his 1996–2018 tenure. Despite financial challenges after moving from Highbury in 2006, Mikel Arteta’s management since 2019 revitalized Arsenal, with a 2020 FA Cup and a 2024–25 title challenge, highlighted by Gabriel Martinelli’s late equalizer against Manchester City, cementing their legacy with 14 FA Cups.
