Former defender believes Reds may let Egyptian star leave.

“Liverpool Will Sell Salah If The Right Price Comes” — Carragher

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has claimed that the club would be willing to sell Mohamed Salah if a suitable offer arrives.

Salah, who recently signed a two-year contract extension in April, is heavily linked with a move away from Anfield in January following recent tension, including comments in which he accused the club of throwing him “under the bus.”

With transfer rumours intensifying, Salah is set to represent Egypt at AFCON 2025 and will miss Liverpool’s next three Premier League fixtures, adding more uncertainty to his future.

Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, Carragher said he believes Liverpool may accept a deal rather than deal with ongoing drama.

Carragher stated:

“I think if Liverpool get the money that they want, they probably will. I think they’ll think they don’t want the hassle.
I’d love him to stay… and I think he can have a better send-off and have an impact before the season ends.”

Carragher predicts that although Salah remains central to Liverpool’s attack, all signs point towards a potential Anfield exit if the price is right.
