Super Eagles Arrive In Fès Ahead of AFCON 2025

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have arrived in Fès, Morocco, to continue their preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, reports sportblits.com.

The squad, led by coach Éric Chelle, spent five days in Cairo, Egypt, for a short pre-tournament camp, where they played a friendly against seven-time champions Egypt, losing 2-1 at the Cairo International Stadium.

“We are now fully focused on the finals in Morocco,” said a team official.

The Super Eagles are drawn in Group C alongside Tanzania, Tunisia, and Uganda. Nigeria will open their campaign against the Taifa Stars of Tanzania next Tuesday, with all group-stage matches set to take place at the Complexe Sportif de Fès.

The team will step up training on Friday as they prepare to chase a fourth AFCON title.
