British heavyweight stops YouTuber-turned-boxer in Miami showdown.

Joshua Floors Jake Paul with Stunning 6th-Round KO

Former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua delivered a powerful reminder of his elite status on Saturday morning, stopping YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul with a sixth-round knockout in Miami.

Paul, despite being the underdog, lasted longer than many expected — but Joshua’s experience, size advantage and devastating punches proved too much to handle, according to The Athletic.

The fight momentum shifted drastically in Round 5 when Joshua’s uppercut forced Paul into survival mode. Joshua then dropped Paul twice in the same round, first through sustained punches and then with a precise right hand.

Although Paul managed to make it into the sixth round, the end came quickly. Joshua unleashed a right-hand-to-left-hook combo before another crushing right hand sent Paul collapsing to the canvas. The count reached 10 and the fight was over.

The win marks Joshua’s first bout since his knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois in September 2024, ending a 15-month layoff.

Joshua, however, wasn’t satisfied:

“It wasn’t the best performance. It took longer than expected, but the right hand finally found the destination.”

He also issued a direct challenge to Tyson Fury, calling for a blockbuster showdown:

“Step in the ring with me next. Don’t do all that talking. Let’s see you talk with your fists.”

Jake Paul remained defiant despite the loss — and a suspected broken jaw:

“I love this. I’ll be back. I’m going to rest and then go harder.”

The defeat is Paul’s second as a professional.
