The Super Eagles have begun preparations in Morocco after arriving on Thursday. The players held two training sessions on Friday at 10am and 6pm, sharpening their skills ahead of the tournament.

First Group C Opponent: Tanzania

Nigeria will face Tanzania in their first Group C fixture. Tanzania arrived in Fes on Friday, setting the stage for a historic showdown.

The last encounter between both nations at the AFCON was in 1980, when Christian Chukwu’s Super Eagles defeated Tanzania 3-1 in the tournament opener held in Nigeria.
