Eric Chelle focuses on tactics in private session as Nigeria aim for back-to-back Group C wins.

Super Eagles Go Behind Closed Doors for Tunisia Prep

The Super Eagles conducted a closed-door training session on Thursday, December 25, 2025, as head coach Eric Chelle intensifies preparations for the vital Group C clash against Tunisia on Saturday.

Following their 2-1 opening win over Tanzania (goals from Semi Ajayi and Ademola Lookman), Nigeria aim for six points from two games to strengthen their knockout qualification bid.

The private session allows Chelle to fine-tune tactics away from prying eyes ahead of the showdown with the Carthage Eagles.

Media Schedule

  • Pre-match press conference: Friday at 10:45am at Fès Stadium, featuring Chelle and captain Wilfred Ndidi.
  • Official training: Friday at 6pm in the Sardienne Complex – first 15 minutes open to media.
