Club History

Brentford Football Club was formed in 1889, born out of a meeting at the Oxford & Cambridge pub near Kew Bridge where members of Brentford Rowing Club and Boston Park Cricket Club resolved to form a football club. Over the years the “Bees” gradually climbed through the English football structure, earning promotions, facing relegations, but steadily becoming stronger. In recent years they secured a place in the Premier League, moved from their old ground Griffin Park to the modern Gtech Community Stadium in 2020, and have established themselves as a competitive top-flight side.
