Super Eagles striker Akor Adams has lauded the impact of former Arsenal star Alexis Sánchez at Sevilla, revealing how the veteran’s presence has positively influenced the squad since joining the club in the summer transfer window, Sportblits.com reports.

The 36-year-old Chilean winger, signed as a free agent from Udinese, is widely regarded as one of the game’s greatest wingers, having played for Arsenal, Barcelona, Manchester United, and Inter Milan. Sánchez has already contributed two goals and one assist in eight appearances for Los Nervionenses this season.

Akor Adams, who has developed a strong rapport with Sánchez, explained the value of having the veteran in the team beyond his goals and assists.

“For us, it’s a pleasure to have a player of his calibre and to spend every day with him in the same locker room, more than 6-7 hours every day. We sit side by side, we talk a lot, we share experiences,”
Adams told Sporty TV.

He added:

“He has seen the game, all of it, I’ve learnt a lot. He’s a veteran in the game, and for me, it’s positive, even for the other players.”

Sevilla face a crucial showdown against Real Betis this weekend at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, and Adams hopes to continue benefiting from Sánchez’s experience as they aim to secure a vital result.
