The loss comes after Nigeria’s opening defeat to Tunisia (88-78 in overtime) on Thursday, leaving the D’Tigers still searching for their first win in the qualifiers.

Guinea, meanwhile, recorded their second consecutive group-stage victory, having beaten Rwanda 82-70 in their opening match.
