Club History

Crystal Palace Football Club, founded in 1905, is based in South London and nicknamed the Eagles. The club has spent much of its history fluctuating between the top two divisions of English football, gaining a reputation for resilience and passionate support. Their most successful spell came in the early 1990s under Steve Coppell, finishing third in the old First Division in 1990-91 and reaching the FA Cup final in 1990. Palace have produced and nurtured talented players, notably Wilfried Zaha, and established themselves as a Premier League mainstay since promotion in 2013. In 2025, they achieved a historic milestone by winning their first major trophy, lifting the FA Cup, cementing their place in English football history.
