Club History

Wolverhampton Wanderers were founded in 1877 (as St. Luke’s) and have been a key part of English football ever since, being one of the founding members of the Football League in 1888. Over the years they’ve won multiple major honours, including league titles, FA Cups, and League Cups, enjoying particularly successful spells under managers like Stan Cullis. Their home, Molineux Stadium, has been their base since 1889, and while they’ve seen ups and downs—including relegations and promotions—they have re-established themselves in recent seasons as a Premier League side with solid ambition and passionate support.
