British-Nigerian star breaks Paul’s jaw in Netflix heavyweight clash, eyes blockbuster Fury fight next.

Joshua Delivers Brutal KO in Miami Blockbuster

Anthony Joshua returned to the ring after a 15-month layoff and delivered a sixth-round knockout over Jake Paul in their controversial heavyweight exhibition at the Kaseya Center in Miami on December 19, 2025.

The former two-time heavyweight champion overcame early frustration as Paul used lateral movement to evade engagement. Joshua finally pinned him down, landing a devastating right hand that broke Paul’s jaw in two places and sent him to the canvas for the final time.

Both fighters shared a massive $184 million prize pool, with Joshua earning $92 million, the biggest payday of his career.

Paul, hospitalized after the fight, posted an X-ray confirming the double jaw fracture but vowed to return and chase a world title.

AJ Calls Out Fury

In his post-fight interview, Joshua turned his attention to Tyson Fury: “If Tyson Fury’s as serious as he thinks he is… step in the ring with me next if you’re a real bad boy. Don’t do all that talking, let’s see you in the ring and talk with your fists.”

Promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed the Fury fight is the priority and could happen soon without interim bouts.

A massive win for Joshua as he shakes off ring rust and sets sights on the biggest all-British clash in boxing history.
