Arsenal and Visit Rwanda to End Sleeve Partnership

Arsenal FC and the Rwanda Development Board have mutually agreed to terminate their sponsorship deal at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, ending an eight-year collaboration that began in 2018 with Visit Rwanda becoming the club’s first official sleeve partner.

Arsenal CEO Richard Garlick stated: “Our first ever sleeve partnership with Visit Rwanda has been a significant journey. Over many years, we’ve worked together to raise global awareness of Rwanda’s tourism and conservation efforts and built many new connections with our supporters across Africa. The commitment and support of Visit Rwanda throughout our partnership has played an important role in driving forward our ambitions, helping us invest in our long-term vision to win major trophies in a financially sustainable way. We thank the Rwanda Development Board for their partnership and what we’ve delivered together.”

The deal generated approximately £13.4 million for Arsenal in the most recent financial year and is credited with significantly boosting Rwanda’s tourism, with visitor numbers reaching 1.3 million and revenues of $650 million in 2024.

The partnership will continue in full force for the remainder of the current season, after which Arsenal’s sleeve will become available for a new sponsor.
