Arsenal have suffered a fresh defensive setback as Ben White is expected to be sidelined for at least a month following the hamstring injury he picked up against Wolves.

The 28-year-old limped off in the 31st minute of Arsenal’s 2-1 win, replaced by Myles Lewis-Skelly.

White’s absence adds to the club’s woes, with Gabriel Magalhaes out until year-end with an abductor issue and Cristhian Mosquera sidelined until mid-January.

Arsenal travel to Everton on Saturday before a Carabao Cup quarter-final against Crystal Palace on 23 December, followed by Premier League fixtures against Brighton and Aston Villa.
