The move aims to ensure fan safety, order, and a smooth match-day experience. Spectators will undergo security screening upon entry, and any banned items will not be allowed inside.

Fans are advised to leave the following items at home before entering AFCON 2025 stadiums:

  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Illegal substances and drugs
  • Weapons and sharp objects
  • Fireworks and pyrotechnics
  • Glass bottles or containers
  • Flammable materials
  • Racist, violent, or discriminatory banners

  • Drones and animals
  • Large umbrellas and oversized hats
  • Professional cameras and recording equipment
