Chelsea and England star edges Nigerian keeper in Doha ceremony.

Chelsea goalkeeper Hannah Hampton has claimed the 2025 Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper award, beating Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie for the second time this year.

Hampton starred in Chelsea’s domestic treble and helped England defend their Euro 2025 title. Nnadozie, meanwhile, excelled for Paris FC and Nigeria at WAFCON 2025, winning Goalkeeper of the Tournament, but fell short on the global stage.

“With club and country, we have achieved so much, and there is still more to go and get,” Hampton said after receiving the award in Doha.
