Napoli claimed the 2025 Italian Super Cup with a convincing 2-0 victory over Bologna in the final at Jeddah on Monday, December 22, 2025.

Brazilian winger David Neres was the star of the show, scoring a brilliant long-range curler just before halftime to break the deadlock against last season’s Coppa Italia winners.

He doubled the lead in the second half with an opportunistic finish after intercepting a risky pass from Bologna goalkeeper Federico Ravaglia while playing out from the back.

Neres finished the tournament with three goals, having also scored in Napoli’s 2-0 semi-final win over AC Milan.

The reigning Serie A champions dominated the four-team event, which since 2023 includes league and cup runners-up and is contracted to be held in Saudi Arabia until 2029.
