Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially unveiled the NAIJA 4 THE WIN campaign as the Super Eagles prepare to return to continental action for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. With a rich legacy of three AFCON titles (1980, 1994, 2013), the team enters the tournament with a strong resolve to restore Nigeria to the pinnacle of African football.

Reflecting on recent history, the NFF noted that Nigeria’s silver-medal finish at AFCON 2023 serves not as a setback but as motivation to achieve a more decisive outcome this time around. In a statement, the federation emphasised that under head coach Eric Sékou Chelle, the Super Eagles are building a team structured on discipline, experience, emerging talent, and collective ambition. The campaign aims to unify Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora, reinforcing belief in another continental triumph.

Currently camped in Cairo, Egypt, the Super Eagles will face the Pharaohs in a pre-tournament friendly on Tuesday before flying to Morocco. Drawn in Group C, Nigeria will open their AFCON 2025 campaign against Tanzania on December 23, followed by matches against Tunisia on December 27 and Uganda on December 30. The NFF encourages supporters nationwide and abroad to rally behind the team, emphasising that the passion and presence of Nigerians will be pivotal to the Super Eagles’ success.
