Nigerian female star to face undefeated Charlie Brown in London.

Nigerian boxer Odunayo Ayanwale will make her UK debut on January 24, 2026, at York Hall, London, against undefeated British fighter Charlie Brown (5-0) in a six-round International Female Light-Welterweight Challenge.

Since turning professional in November 2024, Ayanwale has a 2-1 record with two knockouts. The fight marks a major step for her international exposure and highlights the growing talent of Nigerian female boxers.

NBBofC Secretary-General Remi Aboderin confirmed the bout arranged by promoter William Storey, while President Dr Rafiu Oladipo praised efforts to give Nigerian boxers global opportunities.

Ayanwale said:

Her coach and manager are preparing her for a challenging fight against Brown, who aims to maintain her unbeaten record.
