Late arrival forces Super Eagles to cancel Thursday’s session.

Super Eagles in Fèz

The Super Eagles were forced to call off their scheduled training session on Thursday following their late arrival in Fez, Morocco, ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The three-time African champions landed in the host city on Thursday evening after completing a five-day preparation camp in Cairo, Egypt.

Due to the delayed arrival, the planned 6pm local time session was cancelled, with the team expected to hold their first full training session today (Friday).

Nigeria arrived in Fez three days before the start of the tournament and five days ahead of their opening Group C match against Tanzania.

During their stay in Cairo, training activities were disrupted by staggered player arrivals, with the camp opening on Sunday with 10 players before expanding to 28 by Wednesday.
