Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has disclosed ambitious plans to invest heavily in football, expanding his business ventures beyond real estate.
In a livestream with content creator Carter Efe, the 27-year-old striker revealed his intention to purchase Turkish second division club Istanbulspor. He further plans to establish a Nigerian branch in the NPFL, which will serve as a feeder system for local talents to move to Istanbulspor.
“I want to invest in the sport that made me who I am, and also create opportunities for Nigerian players to shine abroad, starting with Istanbulspor.”
Currently, Osimhen is the highest-paid Nigerian footballer, earning an annual salary of €21 million, and his investments reflect a commitment to both growing football in Nigeria and expanding his influence internationally.
