Real Betis are reportedly preparing a move for Nigerian midfielder Christantus Uche ahead of the summer transfer window.
The talented 22-year-old is expected to return to Getafe CF after completing his loan spell with Crystal Palace FC.
Betis Plot €15M Move
According to reports from Spanish outlet Fichajes, Betis are willing to offer around €15 million to secure the services of the Nigerian attacking midfielder this summer.
Despite struggling to establish himself in the Premier League, the Spanish club still view Uche as a player with huge potential and long-term quality.
Tough Spell At Crystal Palace
Uche found game time difficult at Selhurst Park, making 14 league appearances, all from the bench.
However, the Nigerian youngster still managed to show flashes of his quality on the European stage, scoring two goals in four UEFA Europa Conference League appearances.
“struggled to make impact” in England, but his European performances have kept interest in his talent alive.
Interest Growing Across Europe
Reports suggest Uche is attracting attention from several clubs in both Spain and England, although the player is yet to make a final decision regarding his future.
The midfielder’s rise has been impressive. He joined Getafe from Spanish third-tier side AD Ceuta FC in 2024 and immediately announced himself by scoring on his debut against Athletic Bilbao.
Now, with a major summer approaching, the Nigerian could be set for another big move in his rapidly developing career.
