
Kano Pillars FC technical adviser Mohammed Babaganaru has expressed strong confidence that the club will retain their Nigeria Premier Football League status this season.
The four-time NPFL champions boosted their survival chances with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Warri Wolves FC on Sunday.

Veteran midfielder Rabiu Ali scored the decisive goal from the penalty spot just before halftime to hand Kano Pillars a massive three points.
The victory moved the Sai Masu Gida up to 10th position with 48 points, easing immediate relegation fears ahead of the final round of fixtures.
Final-Day Survival Battle Awaits
Kano Pillars will now travel to face Plateau United FC in a tense final-day showdown, with Babaganaru admitting the relegation battle is still far from over.

The coach acknowledged that Plateau United are also battling for survival, making the encounter even more intense.
“If you look at the table, Plateau United are also struggling. I think they have 47 points, while we have 48.”

Despite the pressure, Babaganaru insists his players remain fully focused and determined to complete the mission.
“We are focused, determined, and optimistic of surviving relegation by the last match of the season.”
The experienced tactician also sent a heartfelt message to the supporters ahead of the decisive clash.
“Our fans must also remain calm, prayerful, and continue believing in us. God will definitely do it for us.”
