Turkish giants approach Lazio midfielder as Premier League interest lingers.

Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor have submitted a formal offer for Lazio midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, according to reports from Sportblits.com.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from Lazio during the January transfer window and only recently returned to Italy after representing Nigeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Trabzonspor — popularly known as the Black Sea Storm — have made a financially attractive proposal through the player’s representatives. However, the report adds that Dele-Bashiru is not yet convinced about a return to Turkey.
Premier League side Nottingham Forest are also monitoring the situation but are yet to submit a formal offer for the midfielder.
Dele-Bashiru previously played in Turkey with Hatayspor before joining Lazio, and sources suggest a move to England is more appealing to the player than a switch back to the Super Lig.
Trabzonspor currently boast a strong Nigerian presence, with Paul Onuachu and Anthony Nwakaeme already at the club. They recently added another Nigerian, Chibuike Nwaiwu, from Austrian outfit Wolfsberger AC.
The coming days are expected to be decisive as Dele-Bashiru weighs his next move amid growing interest across Europe.
