According to Italy-based journalist Lorenzo Lepore, an agreement has been reached between all parties, paving the way for Lawal’s move to the Czech Republic.
NK Istra will receive €2.4 million in guaranteed fees, with add-ons pushing the total package to €3 million, alongside a percentage from a future sale.
The 23-year-old striker is expected to undergo medical examinations next Monday in the Czech Republic before completing the transfer.
Lawal was part of Nigeria’s squad at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, where he made one appearance for the Super Eagles, further boosting his profile ahead of this move.
