Former Russian First League top scorer joins Sivasspor on short-term deal.

Turkish Super Lig outfit Sivasspor have officially completed the signing of Nigerian forward Jonathan Okoronkwo, according to reports from Sportblits.com.
The 22-year-old striker joined the Turkish club from Hatayspor, putting pen to paper on a one-and-a-half-year contract as he looks to continue his career progression in Europe.
Okoronkwo has built an impressive résumé despite his young age, previously featuring for Botev Plovdiv, Krasnodar, and Arsenal Tula. His standout campaign came during the 2023/24 season, where he finished as the Russian First League top scorer with 17 goals.

Across his professional career so far, the Nigerian attacker has made 80 official appearances, finding the back of the net 23 times, highlighting his consistency in front of goal.
Confirming the move, Sivasspor welcomed the striker in an official statement on their website:
“We welcome Jonathan Okoronkwo to the Özbelsan Sivasspor family and wish him great success in our red and white jersey.”
The transfer marks a new chapter for Okoronkwo as he aims to make his mark in the Turkish Super Lig.
