Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen could be on the move, with top European clubs monitoring his next step.

Victor Osimhen’s future at Galatasaray may be short-lived, just a year after his high-profile permanent move to the Turkish side. Reports suggest Arsenal and Juventus are closely tracking the 27-year-old striker.
At Arsenal, long-term plans have focused on Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid, with around €100m reportedly earmarked for the Argentine. However, Alvarez’s contract runs until 2030, making him a difficult target. This has reportedly elevated Osimhen as a leading alternative.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray for €75m and is contracted until 2029. While the club has no immediate plans to sell, sources suggest a €100m bid could prompt negotiations, especially if the striker expresses a desire to return to a top European league.

Having conquered Serie A with Napoli, Osimhen is reportedly open to a move to the Premier League. Juventus are also keeping a close eye, with manager Luciano Spalletti keen to reunite with the forward he guided to a historic Serie A title in 2023, during which Osimhen scored 26 league goals.
Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk highlighted the financial scale of the striker’s deal:
“Galatasaray’s transfer fees and salaries have been going up since last year. With Osimhen’s transfer fee and salary, you could probably put together a full team. We need to follow budgets closely.”
On the pitch, Osimhen continues to shine. He has 14 goals and one assist in 20 games for Galatasaray across all competitions, while also netting four goals and two assists in six matches for Nigeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, earning a spot in the Team of the Tournament.
With both Arsenal and Juventus weighing options, the Super Eagles striker could be poised for a major European return.
