Bundesliga champions tracking Galatasaray striker amid uncertainty over Harry Kane’s long-term future.

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have rekindled their interest in Victor Osimhen, with head coach Vincent Kompany viewing the Nigerian striker as a long-term replacement for Harry Kane, according to Sportblits.com.
Bayern are still in contract renewal talks with Kane, who continues to attract interest from Barcelona and several Premier League sides. While no decision has been finalised, the Bavarians are already planning for the future.
Despite being only in his third season at Bayern, Kane has firmly established himself as one of the club’s greatest forwards, recording an astonishing 130 goals in 133 competitive matches. However, with no extension agreed yet, Bayern’s hierarchy are weighing up alternatives — and Osimhen sits top of the list.
The Nigerian has rediscovered his devastating form at Galatasaray. During his first season on loan, he netted 37 goals in 41 matches across all competitions. Now in his second campaign with the Istanbul giants, he has already scored 10 Süper Lig goals and seven goals in eight UEFA Champions League games, including a decisive strike that sent Galatasaray into the round of 16.

Signed permanently for a Turkish record €75 million last summer following that loan spell, the former Napoli striker is under contract until June 2029.
According to Foot Mercato, Osimhen — who is represented by the KBSport agency — is under serious consideration in Munich.
“Bayern coach Vincent Kompany greatly admires the former Lille player,” the report stated.
“The Munich management is anticipating all eventualities regarding Harry Kane’s ageing and is actively preparing for his eventual departure.”
Naturally, Galatasaray are thrilled with their investment and have no immediate plans to sell. Still, the arrival of a European powerhouse could shift the dynamics.
Osimhen also continues to attract interest across Europe, but his wage demands and Galatasaray’s reported €150m valuation have proven to be major obstacles.
The striker recently spoke openly about his admiration for Juventus, following a Champions League meeting.
“If it were possible for me to return to Italy, Juventus is a club where I would take great pleasure in playing,” Osimhen said.
“But I am very happy at the club I am currently part of. I am fully committed here.”
Osimhen previously revealed that Napoli blocked a potential move to Juventus, underlining just how complex any future transfer could be — even as Bayern Munich quietly line him up as Kane’s possible heir.
