Restoration Boys boost attacking options as title and survival race intensifies.

Bayelsa United have confirmed the signing of six players as they intensify preparations for the decisive stages of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The Restoration Boys secured the services of Ettah Ekoi and Okim Divine Okim from Calabar Rovers, while also completing deals for Otunuya Kennedy (Godswill Akpabio United), Nasidi Abdulrasak Danladi (Kebbi FC), and Stephen Ikechi Wisdom (Akwa United).
In addition to the external signings, the Yenagoa-based club also promoted Kenus Godswill from their feeder team, further strengthening the squad depth ahead of the second stanza run-in.

Head coach Meremu Okara explained that the recruitment drive was driven by the need to improve the team’s attacking output.
“We identified the attacking department as a key area,” Okara said. “That’s why we signed three attackers, alongside an attacking midfielder, a defender, and promoted a player from the youth team.”
With these additions, Bayelsa United hope to mount a stronger push as the NPFL season enters its crucial phase.
