Super Eagles captain open to La Liga switch amid relegation battle.

Spanish La Liga side Valencia have reportedly launched a move for Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi as they seek to strengthen their squad during the January transfer window, according to Sportblits.com.
Reports from Tribuna Deportiva claim the Nigerian midfielder is open to joining Valencia and would be happy to play in La Liga, with the club considering a loan deal with a high purchase option to Beşiktaş.
The move comes as Valencia battle relegation in the Spanish top flight, prompting the club to target experienced players to stabilise their season. They have already completed the permanent signing of Nigeria striker Umar Sadiq.
Valencia head coach Carlos Corberán believes Ndidi’s defensive strength and leadership could be key in helping the club avoid the drop.
Ndidi, 29, joined Beşiktaş from Leicester City last summer and is currently on international duty, captaining Nigeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. He is expected to consider his club future once the tournament concludes.
A deal would see Ndidi reunite with Sadiq as Valencia push for survival in La Liga.
