Super Eagles duo Chidozie Awaziem and Tochukwu Nnadi were both in action for the entire match as FC Nantes cruised to a 3–0 victory over Olympique de Marseille in Saturday’s Ligue 1 encounter.
Awaziem, making his 25th appearance of the season, continues to be a key figure for Nantes, having contributed one goal and two assists so far in the campaign.
On the other hand, Nnadi featured in his sixth appearance, adding to his growing experience, and has registered one assist this season.
After a goalless first half, Nantes came alive in the second period. Ignatius Ganago opened the scoring in the 50th minute before turning provider just four minutes later, setting up Rémy Cabella to double the lead.
The hosts sealed the victory in the 58th minute when Matthis Abline found the back of the net, putting the result beyond doubt and securing all three points.
A solid performance from the Nigerian stars as Nantes delivered a dominant display at home.
