Santos FC have officially confirmed the launch of an internal investigation following an alleged incident involving Neymar and Robinho Jr during a training session at the club’s facilities.
According to the official statement, the situation occurred during training at the CT Rei Pelé on Sunday (03/5), prompting immediate action from the club’s leadership.
Santos stated:
“Santos FC informs that, by order of the presidency, an internal investigation process was immediately initiated after the occurrence of the events to analyze the incident involving athletes Neymar Jr. and Robson de Souza Jr (Robinho), during training this past Sunday (03/5), at CT Rei Pelé.”
The club further confirmed that its legal department will oversee the process:
“The Club’s Legal Department is responsible for conducting the investigation.”
The situation has drawn significant attention due to the high-profile nature of Neymar’s return to Santos and the involvement of one of the club’s young prospects.
