Spurs snap up highly-rated forward Elisha Sowunmi from West Ham United.

Tottenham Hotspur have officially confirmed the signing of young forward Elisha Sowunmi from West Ham United in an undisclosed deal, bringing an end to his 10-year spell at the London Stadium.
The versatile attacker, who can operate out wide or as a number 10, was a standout performer for West Ham’s Under-18 side last season. Sowunmi finished as the team’s top scorer, registering hat-tricks against Reading and Aston Villa, and played a key role in their Under-18 Premier League Cup triumph.

Notably, the move comes just six months after he signed his first professional contract with West Ham, underlining Tottenham’s belief in his long-term potential.
Speaking after completing the transfer, Sowunmi expressed his excitement at joining the North London club.
“I’m really excited to be here. I know a lot about the club from playing against them over the years; it’s a great club with a lot of history, so I’m really, really excited to be here,” he said.
The signing adds another highly-rated young talent to Tottenham’s development pipeline as the club continues to invest in the future.
