Documentation issues force FIFA to reject appeals as two high-profile moves fall apart.

Two major transfer deadline shocks have rocked the football world after FIFA officially blocked the proposed moves of N’Golo Kanté to Fenerbahçe and Youssef En-Nesyri to Al Ittihad.
Despite both clubs reaching verbal agreements with the players and their representatives, the deals failed to progress due to serious documentation issues. FIFA reviewed appeals from both Fenerbahçe and Al Ittihad but ultimately rejected them, ruling that the required paperwork was not properly completed within the regulatory framework.

As a result, neither transfer received the famous “here we go” confirmation, bringing an abrupt end to negotiations that had gathered significant momentum late in the window.
For Fenerbahçe, missing out on Kanté represents a major setback in their midfield reinforcement plans, while Al Ittihad will now have to explore alternative attacking options following En-Nesyri’s failed switch.
The situation once again underlines how administrative errors can derail even the most advanced transfers, especially during the high-pressure final hours of the transfer window.
