19-Year-Old Signs Long-Term Contract Until 2031, Set to Shine in Bundesliga.

Bundesliga club FC Augsburg have confirmed the signing of Nigerian striker Uchenna Ogundu from Turkish outfit Alanyaspor, with the 19-year-old committing to a long-term deal until 30 June 2031. The transfer fee has been kept confidential by both clubs.
Ogundu enjoyed a productive season at Alanyaspor, scoring five goals and providing two assists in 20 appearances across all competitions, showcasing his pace, dynamism, and intelligent movement behind defenses.
Augsburg’s sporting director Benni Weber praised the Nigerian forward:
“We are delighted that Uchenna has chosen FCA. With his pace, his dynamism and his ability to make runs in behind, he fits perfectly with us and brings additional variability to our game.”

Ogundu expressed excitement about his move and the chance to compete in the Bundesliga:
