Former Manchester United Star Could Be Headed for Shock Move to Brazil.

Former Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard is being linked with another unexpected career move following his departure from South Korean club FC Seoul.
The 33-year-old free agent is reportedly in talks with Clube do Remo, commonly known as Remo — not Nigeria Premier Football League champions Remo Stars, despite the similarity in names.
According to Globo, Lingard has already been offered a contract, with reports suggesting there is a “good chance” he will accept a deal that runs until the end of the Brazilian season.
Remo are based in Belém, Pará, and were founded in 1905. The club currently compete in Brazil’s top flight, having secured promotion last year, but have endured a difficult start to the new campaign. After three league matches, they sit 16th, having lost one and drawn two, and are yet to record a win.

Lingard’s talks with Remo come just weeks after reports suggested a possible return to England or Italy, with the player holding discussions with several European suitors. However, Brazil now appears to be a strong option as he considers the next chapter of his career.
If the move goes through, Lingard would join a growing list of former Manchester United players currently playing in Brazil, including Memphis Depay at Corinthians and Andreas Pereira at Palmeiras.
Their presence could help ease Lingard’s transition, while also underlining the increasing appeal of Brazilian football for experienced European-based stars.
A transfer to Remo would mark another surprising twist in Lingard’s career, highlighting how global football pathways continue to evolve. Whether or not the deal is completed, his next move is certain to attract widespread attention.
