Liverpool boss Arne Slot has admitted the club must improve after another frustrating result, but insists the Reds will return stronger next season.
The Dutch manager made the bold promise following Liverpool’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Anfield — a result that was met with boos from sections of the home supporters.
Despite the growing frustration around the club, Slot remains confident he can turn things around.
“I’m 100 percent convinced that we will be a different team next season.”
Slot Promises Big Liverpool Transformation
Speaking after the Chelsea draw, Slot acknowledged fans’ disappointment but stressed that changes are already being planned behind the scenes.
“Not this season by the way. This season they will have their opinion and it will not change.”
The Liverpool manager believes the club’s upcoming summer plans will help reshape the squad both in performances and style of play.
“If we can have the summer that we are planning to have, then I’m 100 percent convinced that we will be a different team next season than we are now.”
Liverpool Fans Growing Frustrated
Liverpool’s inconsistent form throughout the 2025/26 season has increased pressure on Slot, especially after Saturday’s disappointing result against Chelsea.
The Reds remain locked in a battle for Champions League qualification, but performances at Anfield have left many supporters frustrated.
Slot, however, is confident better days are ahead.
“Different in terms of results, different in how things look.”
With the summer transfer window approaching, Liverpool supporters will now wait to see whether the club can deliver the major rebuild Slot appears to be promising.
