According to reports, the incident escalated during a first-team training session, resulting in a second confrontation the following day that led to Valverde suffering a head injury.
The Uruguayan midfielder reportedly required hospital treatment and stitches after the clash, with medical updates confirming a cranioencephalic trauma. He has since been discharged and is expected to rest for 10 to 14 days.
The club has confirmed the opening of internal disciplinary files, stating that further updates will be provided once investigations are complete.
