Renée Slegers has praised Chiamaka Nnadozie following her impressive performance in Brighton & Hove Albion Women’s 1–1 draw with Arsenal Women FC in the FA Women’s Super League.
Brighton took the lead through Fuka Tsunoda before Frida Maanum restored parity for Arsenal in the second half, but it was Nnadozie’s goalkeeping display that stood out.
The Nigerian shot-stopper produced a series of crucial saves to frustrate Arsenal and secure a valuable point for Brighton in a tightly contested encounter.
Speaking after the match, Slegers highlighted Brighton’s intensity while also acknowledging Nnadozie’s impact:
“Brighton always come out very convinced and with a lot of intensity… Nnadozie did well defending that space, so you need a lot of detail and quality in execution.”
