Toronto Unveils Special World Cup Condom Campaign
Toronto Public Health has launched a unique initiative ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup by distributing free soccer-themed condoms to residents and visitors.
The campaign, known as “CondomTO,” aims to promote safe sex and help reduce the spread of sexually transmitted infections during the global football event.
Toronto Preparing For Massive World Cup Crowds
Toronto is set to host six World Cup matches, including a Round of 32 fixture, during the tournament co-hosted by:
- Canada
- Mexico
- United States
City officials expect huge numbers of tourists and football fans to arrive during the competition.
Soccer-Themed Condom Designs Released
The limited-edition condoms come in six different football-inspired wrapper designs.
One of the most talked-about versions is reportedly called:
“Peaches & Cream”
The design features peach and eggplant imagery, sparking reactions online following the announcement.
The condoms are currently available free of charge at sexual health clinics and community partner locations across Toronto while supplies last.
Not Toronto’s First Major Sporting Event Campaign
This is not the first time Toronto Public Health has tied safer-sex awareness campaigns to international sporting events.
The city previously released special-edition condoms during the:
- 2015 Pan American Games
- 2015 Parapan American Games
Officials say the initiative is part of broader efforts to combine public health awareness with major global events.
