Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk is reportedly intensifying efforts to sign Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika from Belgian side Club Brugge this summer.
The Turkish champions previously attempted to secure the Nigerian star’s signature during the January transfer window, but their offer was rejected by the Belgian club.
However, according to Turkish outlet Fotomac, Buruk has remained determined to bring the midfielder to Istanbul ahead of next season.
Onyedika’s situation at Club Brugge has further fueled speculation, with the 25-year-old now entering the final year of his contract and reportedly unwilling to sign an extension.
That development has opened the door for Galatasaray to reignite their pursuit of the defensive midfielder, who continues to attract attention with his impressive performances in Belgium.
A move to Galatasaray would also see Onyedika reunite with fellow Nigerian star Victor Osimhen, potentially creating a strong Super Eagles connection at the Turkish club.
The midfielder has enjoyed another solid campaign for Club Brugge, contributing three goals and three assists in 40 appearances across all competitions.
With his contract situation unresolved and Galatasaray increasing their interest, Onyedika could now be one of the most talked-about Nigerian players in the upcoming summer transfer window.
