Federation rejects CAF ruling and launches final legal challenge over Morocco decision.

The Fédération Sénégalaise de Football have confirmed they will take their case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport following the controversial decision by the Confederation of African Football to award the AFCON 2025 title to the Morocco national football team.
In a strongly-worded statement, the Senegalese federation said:
“We denounce an unprecedented and unacceptable decision which undermines the credibility of African football.”
The ruling had declared the Senegal national football team to have forfeited the final, handing Morocco a 3–0 victory despite Senegal initially winning the match on the pitch.
This latest move confirms that the AFCON 2025 controversy is heading to its final legal showdown, with CAS now set to decide the fate of one of the most disputed titles in football history.
